
BelArt Gallery participated for the tenth, jubilee time in the Art Market Budapest, held from October 16 to 19, 2025, at MTK Sportpark, Kerepesi 17, 1148 Budapest.
This event is the leading contemporary art fair in Eastern Europe.
At Stand NE106, BelArt Gallery presented works by Mira Brtka, Edita Kadirić, Andrea Ivanović Jakšić, Kristina Pirković, Sombati Balint, and Dragoljub Raša Todosijević.
Mira Brtka
Born in Novi Banovci. She graduated in directing from the Academy of Theatre and Film Arts in Belgrade in 1953, and later in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in 1963. She also studied in Prague under director Otakar Vávra. She worked as a screenwriter and assistant director in Yugoslav and Italian film productions. She has been actively painting since her stay in Rome, where she held her first solo exhibition in 1964. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Forme presenti (1965).Edita Kadirić
Born in 1976 in Banja Luka. She graduated in graphics at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in 1997 and completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1999. She pursued master’s studies in intermedia at the University of Barcelona in 2014 and 2015. She has held solo exhibitions since 1995 in Serbia, Hungary, Portugal, and Germany, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Germany, Spain, and France. She has received multiple national and international awards, and her works are included in public and private collections.

Andrea Ivanović Jakšić
She graduated in painting in 2005 from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, in the class of Professor Milan Blanuša. Her artistic practice encompasses a variety of media and forms of expression, with her entire oeuvre imbued with a personal philosophy inspired by Heraclitus’ teachings—the idea of change as a constant, the conflict and harmony of opposites, and the unity of humans and nature. She has exhibited in solo and group shows in Serbia and abroad, including Japan, Hungary, Switzerland, and Austria. Her works are held in numerous public, private, and corporate collections, including Philip Morris, Niš Art Foundation, and Wiener Städtische. She has received multiple awards.
Kristina Pirković
Born in 1991 in Smederevska Palanka. She completed her undergraduate and master’s studies in mural painting at the Faculty of Philology and Arts, University of Kragujevac, in 2014 and 2015, under the mentorship of Professor Željko Đurović and Assistant Professor Jelena Šalinić Terzić. She has been a member of ULUS since 2018. She has held over twenty solo exhibitions and has received awards for drawing, painting, portrait, self-portrait, and as the best student. Her works are included in private and institutional collections, and some of her pieces have been reproduced in books on contemporary Serbian art.

Sombati Balint
A multimedia artist, art historian, writer, and researcher of aesthetic phenomena. During the 1970s, he created drawings that tracked the movement of the ball from televised football matches. In the 1980s, he introduced the wired-photo technique into artistic photography, expanding the boundaries of visual expression. His work is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach, innovation, and critical reflection on image and media in contemporary society.
Dragoljub Raša Todosijević
One of the most significant representatives of contemporary art in Serbia and the former Yugoslavia. Born in Belgrade, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1969. He was a key figure in conceptual art during the 1970s. He has exhibited in major international institutions, including Moderna Museet, Centre Pompidou, Museum Ludwig, MoMA Warsaw, Tretyakov Gallery, Tate Gallery, and many others. He represented Serbia at the 54th Venice Biennale, where he won the Unicredit Venice Award. His 1976 performance Was ist Kunst? was acquired by the Tate Collection in 2014.
